Bilingual V2 Receipts from Carmarthen Wincor-Nixdorf
Stardate:140412
A fellow member of the Postal Mechanisation Study Circle has just sent me some examples from the Carmarthen office (id 006613) with a bilingual receipt and certificate of posting.
As with all the receipts that I have seen since the V2 software upgrade in 2011, the Post Office oval has been used. Before the upgrade, two other receipt headers could be found - Wincor-Nixdorf and no logo. As with the standard English only version, the items purchased listing has been left aligned.
The V2 software now allows the production of certificates of posting. Once produced with the appropriate stamp/label, the item should be taken to the rapid drop counter for subsequent processing.
The above image shows the page with the receipt, certificate of posting and the PAG as mounted in my collection. One the other new feature with the V2 software when asking for a certificate of posting is that one has to enter the destination postcode. The outward part of the is printed on the PAG. In this instance TW13 appears above the "Post By".
On the 12th April 2012, the sheep faststamps were available from the kiosk at this office. The kiosk came on line at this office on the 18th November 2010.
